Trueborn is a very special beer! The folks from The Bruery came out to blend this beer from barrels in our cellar, and it’s a testament to our shared passion for pushing boundaries and creating truly unique beers.
Trueborn is a journey for the senses. Aromas of rustic grains and delicate saison yeast give way to floral jasmine and subtle spice. On the palate, a hint of butterscotch emerges alongside a whisper of minerality, creating a tapestry of complexity that evolves with every sip. We infused this blend with dried chanterelle mushrooms, pink peppercorns, and jasmine flowers, then naturally conditioned it with orange blossom honey.
This collaboration is more than just an excellent beer; it’s a celebration of our shared history. Before Cellador Ales even existed, founder and former owner Kevin Osborne won a homebrew competition hosted by The Bruery. His winning recipe was brewed and released by The Bruery as “Batch 1731,” in a way marking the first-ever “Cellador” beer. Years later, we’re thrilled to come together again to create something truly special.
