Brett Berliner with Whole Boysenberries
This is the third iteration of our fruited berliner series. This version was aged on 2 pounds per gallon of fruit, yielding a very jammy and very purple beer. These batches are fermented with a different mixed-culture than the rest of our beers. The berliner culture is an evolving blend of at least 22 different strains of brett and 3 strains of lactobacillus, which at this point we’ve been keeping alive for 8 months, and hope to have around for many years to come. We also sometimes pitch some fresh brett to ensure we have healthy fermentations.
Berlinerish is very light and refreshing; showcasing the more tropical flavors that brettanomyces can produce.
Available in 375ml and 750ml bottles. This beer was packaged from one 500l red wine puncheon and 1 standard 59 gallon red wine barrel. 4 kegs were made, of which 2 went to Coachella and 2 went to Mikkeller DTLA. Cheers! -Kevin Osborne

Shipping is available to Syndicate club members and the general public (within CA only!) for a flat rate of $10 / 1-12 bottle box (375ml and/or 750ml bottles). Merchandise such as shirts and glassware take the place of 1 bottle in the box. For the general public, we will hold on to your bottles for 90 days from the date of purchase. Any bottles not shipped or picked up within 90 days will be forfeited without refund. - Bottle sales are available to Single Barrel Syndicate members first, then remaining bottles will be put online to the public.
- Buy and ship one bottle at a time, or we’ll hang on to your purchased bottles and will ship only when you want!
- Ready to ship? Simply buy a shipping box for $10.00 at checkout, and we’ll ship your orders (past and new) all at once.
- Arrangements can also be made to pick up your bottles. Due to possible fluctuations of pick up locations, you must email Info@CelladorAles.com to coordinate pick up. 2 days notice is appreciated, but not required
- Shipments are dropped once a week every Tuesday
