Carwyn Collaboration Festival in Melbourne!

12 of Australia’s best breweries paired with 12 renowned internationals in a street party style boutique beer festival.

About this Event

The Carwyn Collaborational is a boutique international beer festival of an ilk not seen in Australia before. The festival will pair 12 of the best craft breweries in Australia with 12 renowned international breweries in a street party style festival on Blythe St in Thornbury, Melbourne. In the spirit of collaboration, the paired breweries will share a stand on the day—and you bet your britches that each pairing will collaborate on a beer! Some collaboration brews will be available at the festival, and some will be released at a later date.

All 24 participating breweries will have a brewery representative present, and each will have 4 limited-release beers to pour through 2 taps over the duration of the festival. It is up to the breweries in terms of what beers are pouring when, so check with individual brewery stands to see what’s pouring!

Entry to the inaugural Carwyn Collaborational.

Punch card valuing $30 to be redeemed for beer tasters.

Session Times:

There are two sessions offered. The two sessions are ticketed separately.

Session 1 (11am-3pm)

Session 2 (4pm-8pm)

Food:

Multiple local food options will be available for purchase on the day.

Getting There:

This is a beer festival, so please don’t drive. The Collaborational is easy to access with both the 86 tram line and Thornbury train station very close by.

Getting In:

Entry to the Collaborational is from High. St. Thornbury. Please line-up in a Northerly direction along the High St footpath and stay clear of the road.

Important Information:

This is a cashless event, credit and EFTPOS cards are the only accepted forms of payment on the day.

Please bring identification. This is strictly an 18+ event and security will be checking ID at the door. In accordance with Victorian RSA laws, if you are drunk or disorderly you will not be served, and you will be asked to leave. Free water will be readily available at the festival.
